The Kelly Clarkson Show leads Daytime Talk with 11 noms, Jennifer Hudson snubbed in host category
The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced the nominees for the 50th Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards. The Daytime Emmy® Awards telecast will be presented live at 9 PM EDT (replay at 9 PM PDT) on Friday, June 16 on the CBS and streamed on Paramount+.
The Daytime Creative Arts & Lifestyle Emmy® Awards will be presented on Saturday, June 17 and streamed on the NATAS OTT channel at Watch.TheEmmys.TV. The ceremonies will take place at the Westin Bonaventure Los Angeles.
The Kelly Clarkson Show led the nominees in the talk show categories with a total of 11. Kelly Clarkson was nominated for best daytime talk series host alongside Drew Barrymore (The Drew Barrymore Show, 7 noms), Tamron Hall (4 noms for Tamron Hall), Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest (for Live with Kelly and Ryan, Seacrest’s last chance, he stepped down as host this spring) and Sherri Shepherd (4 noms for Sherri).
Jennifer Hudson was iced out of the Best Talk Series Host category, but her show The Jennifer Hudson Show received 6 nominations.
