On Monday night, April 1, the 12th annual iHeartRadio Music Awards aired on FOX and was broadcasted on iHeartRadio stations nationwide as well as the free iHeartRadio app.

The awards show recognized Beyoncé as the recipient of this year’s Innovator Award. The award is presented to seasoned artists in honor of their impactful contributions to pop culture. Stevie Wonder gave Beyoncé the award. Taylor Swift received the award last year, and Alicia Keys was honored in 2022.

Later on in the show, legendary singer Cher was honored with the Icon Award followed by a musical tribute with American Idol alum and talk show host, Jennifer Hudson. Jennifer kicked off the performance with a rendition of Cher’s “If I Could Turn Back Time.” Soon Cher joined her on stage to sing “Believe.” Watch it below.

On the red carpet, Jennifer wore a resplendent gold gown, featuring feather-adorned sleeves, before changing into a dramatic black and gray outfit and leather coat for her performance.

And American Idol judge, Katy Perry wore a sheer, nearly-naked ensemble and thigh-high boots, that garnered a tone of attention.
