ABC/Disney reveals 2024 Fall premiere dates for Dancing with the Stars and more
ABC reveals premiere dates for the network’s fall schedule. Dancing with the Stars will once again air on the network, while simulcasting on streamer, Disney+.
When ABC/Disney announced in 2022 that they planned to stream DWTS on Disney+ only, it sounded like a permanent change. But it only streamed exclusively on Disney+ for one season. Last year, with writers and actors on strike, reality shows became TV’s bread and butter, and Dancing with the Stars came back to the network, but airing on Tuesday’s instead of Mondays (to make way for Monday Night Football).
Interestingly, Dancing with the Stars earned solid rating last season, even better than American Idol, The Voice, The Amazing Race and The Masked Singer. See the full ABC network schedule below.
The network has not confirmed which cast members are coming back. But it’s likely they all will return. Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough co-host, while Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli sit on the judges panel.
