Adam Lambert Tweets: Single ‘Should Be Out Next Week’, Addresses Unofficial Album Release

Adam Lambert’s lead single from his upcoming album, For Your Entertainment, could be released as early as next week.

Adam twittered the good news as he relaxed at a Florida resort on Sunday. “The single SHOULD be out next week, ” he says.   Last night, Adam performed at a Halloween-themed private function in Boca Raton.

Adam also confirmed that the mysterious album, Take One that suddenly popped up for pre-order on Amazon, is a re-tooled On With the Show, from Hi-Fi Records, as folks were speculating.

“Yeah this “take one” thing is basically “on with the show” re-tooled.” tweeted Adam, “Now this is ALL material recorded in ’05 not written by me.”

Hm. It could be that Adam and his team were able to block Hi-Fi from releasing his self-penned material.

According to internet reports, Adam’s private gig last night was Halloween-themed, with Adam decked out in all-black, vampire fangs, and Emo hair. He performed Idol favorites, “Ring of Fire”, “Black and White”, “Mad World”, “Born to Be Wild”, and “Whole Lotta Love”…

In case anybody missed it, Adam reminds y’all, “My debut, official album “FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT” will be released Nov 23rd. The [single] SHOULD be out next week. Sorry to keep you guys waiting!”
