Watch Adam Wakefield’s The Voice original music video for his original song, “Lonesome, Broken and Blue.” The Team Blake Shelton member has already soared to #2 on the iTunes chart with his self-penned number. Blake was surprised to learn that the singer wrote the song alone.
The music video finds Adam stranded in a river, sitting on an empty bed as he strums his guitar. The camera cuts to a pretty girl in a bedroom wearing his trademark black-rimmed hat.
On the show, Adam said he wrote the song while sitting on a beach, which is how the line, “Loving you was like staring in the sun.” The singer felt the song was a good representation of the songwriting he’s done in Nashville the past two years.
