The Voice season 13 runner-up Addison Agen released a couple of new covers on Youtube with a musical partner, Jonah Baker. One, an acoustic cover of American Idol OG winner and The Voice coach Kelly Clarkson’s signature hit, “Since U Been Gone” is given the acoustic flip treatment. The other is a cover of Gabrielle Aplin’s “Wake Up With Me.”
There have been a zillion acoustic flips of “Since U Been Gone” over the years, but I’m OK with hearing one more, especially if Addison’s gorgeous vocals are front and center.
To split the difference, “Since U Been Gone” was posted on Jonah’s channel, “Wake Me Up” on Addison’s. Sharing the love!
