Angela Miller – “Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word” by Elton John – We’ll get Angela at the piano, which the judges just LOVE. Angela could have a moment with this song. Or not–as former performances of this song resulted in eliminations.
Candice Glover – “Next to Me” by Emile Sande – I am SOOO happy Candice is singing Emile, who is a talented up-and-comer. Candice will SLAM this tune
Kree Harrison – “Here Comes Goodbye” by Rascal Flatts (co-written by Chris Sligh). UGH. Treacly song is treacly. Kree may be able to salvage it though, and touch a few heartstrings in the process. The song’s theme touches on the death of her parents. I hope the Ryan and the judges don’t harp on this.
Angela Miller – “Maybe” by Emile Sande – Emile is a good choice for Angela too. She could play piano on this one too.
Candice Glover – “Somewhere” (West Side Story) – A gorgeous classic. One of my favorite Broadway songs. Looking forward to Candice slaying.
Kree Harrison – “Better Dig Two” by The Band Perry – I approve.
Angela Miller – “Try” by Pink – Angela’s bread and butter are emotion driven songs, but Pink is ALWAYS a tall order.
Candice Glover – “One” by U2 – A big powerhouse rock song for Candice rounds out her selections perfectly.
Kree Harrison – “Perfect” by Pink – Hm. Not a song I would have picked for Kree. Let’s see what she does with it.
The song choices are solid, with no picks that seemed destined to undermine a contestant. I’m a tiny bit skeptical of Kree’s choices. A bluesy song in place of the pop song “Perfect” would have been better for her. Angie has at least one piano driven tune, All 3 songs will give her the opportunity to connect emotionally with the song and the audience. Candice has the most well-rounded set of the three.

As you know, Each of the Top 3 sing 3 songs with each song being “Jimmy Iovine’s Choice,” a “Judges’ Choice” or “IDOL’s (producers’) Choice.” There is no information on who picked the songs.
