Caleb Johnson had his American Idol 13 Top 3 Homecoming Visit in his hometown, Ashville, NC. The Mayor, in a presentation at the Orange, Peel, declared it Caleb Johnson Day and awarded him the key to the city. Heck, it was declared Caleb Johnson day in the entire county!
Caleb’s drama teacher from his high schools was in the house too.
It was also revealed on Saturday, that his hometown fans chose Led Zepplin’s “Dazed and Confused” for him to reprise on Wednesday’s show.
Ashville is beer city USA? I did not know that. In honor of the city, Caleb was gifted with some special beer glasses.
A parade ended at the Emerald Lounge, where Caleb performed an evening concert, where the line stretched down the block to get into the performance.
