The American Idol 13 Top 3 will receive a “heroes welcome” when they touch down in their hometowns this weekend. Caleb Johnson heads to Asheville, NC, Jena Irene to Farmington Hills, MI and Alex Preston to Durham, NH.
Here are their schedules for Saturday, all subject to change. I’ll be updating this post with new info as it arrives.
Caleb Johnson – Asheville, NC
Details subject to change:
- 12:45-1:45 p.m. Parade from Jack of the Wood on Patton Avenue down Biltmore Avenue to the Orange Peel, 101 Biltmore Ave.
- 1:45-2:45 p.m. Orange Peel appearance with local dignitaries. Johnson will likely sing one or two songs. Free, but tickets are no longer available.
- 7-8:30 p.m. Concert, Emerald Lounge, 112 N. Lexington Ave. First come, first-served.

- A trip to Hercules Coney Island
- 2:30 Parade that ends at North Farmington High School
- 3:30 – Concert at the High School

- 1:30 – Mont Vernon Town Hall
- 2:30 Souhegan High School, Amherst
- 4:30 – Durham – Parade ending up at the University of NH Durham
