American Idol continues this week with two more audition episodes. In Auditions 3 airing Sunday (March 18), judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan (and sometimes host Ryan Seacrest) head to Los Angeles, Nashville, New York City and Savannah. Idol hopefuls, including a cattle farmer from Texas, twin teenagers from Southern California and a furniture salesman from Illinois, sing their hearts out for the judges.
In Auditions 4 on Monday, more hopefuls sing for a golden ticket in Los Angeles, Nashville, New Orleans and New York City. Auditioners include a teacher from Michigan, a construction worker from Alabama and a goat farmer from Oklahoma.
Also there are TWO The Voice alums trying their hand at television competitions one more time. On Sunday, its Ricky Manning, who made it to the Playoff Rounds in season 7. On Monday, Johnny Rez auditions. He was eliminated in the Battles on The Voice Season 11.

YODELER ALERT. On Sunday’s show, Kristyn Harris gets the judges panel up and dancing.
Remember Brittany Holmes? Last fall, she and two other hopefuls competed in the first round of American Idol voting. Brittany won a Golden Ticket to Hollywood, which she apparently just missed receiving during her audition. We’ll see Brittany on Monday. In this clip, during her audition, Lionel describes wearing platform shoes in the 70’s with the Commodores. Katy’s reaction is…pretty interesting considering her mega judges salary which eclipses Lionels by a lot.
More for Monday: This super-touching audition featuring hopeful Marcio Donaldson will probably close the show. After coming up in the foster system, the singer saved his nephew from the same fate by adopting him. Tears all around.

American Idol has ALWAYS loved twin shenanigans. In another clip for Monday, Katy is drawn to an auditioner’s guitarist, who happens to be the hopeful, Taryn Coccia’s twin sister. Uh oh.
