It’s the second night of American Idol 2019 Top 20 All Star duets. The final ten contestants performed with celebrity duet partners. At the end of the show, the judges, Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan advanced SEVEN singer to the Top 14. Next week, voting begins as the Top 14 becomes the Top 10.

I may be a traditionalist, but I’ll be happy when Ryan Seacrest is back in his rightful place as host of American Idol. Although, if Ryan quits or ABC fires him as part of a draconian cost cutting measure for next season, there are worse options than Bobby Bones hosting the show.
