American Idol 2020 (Season 18) Judges Auditions begin in Savannah, Georgia today (Sept 30). Judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan are in town to audition hopefuls. Singers who get yesses from the panel will advance to the Hollywood Rounds set to take place in December.

According to @IdolSpoilers, the judges round auditions are scheduled throughout October and into November.
Savannah, Georgia – September 30 and October 1
Milwaukee, Wisconsin – Tuesday October 8 and Wednesday October 9
Washington, DC – Sunday October 13 and Monday October 14
Los Angeles, California – Late October/November
American Idol mentor Bobby Bones is tweeting from Savannah, Georgia this morning. I wonder if he’ll be stepping into the role host Ryan Seacrest usually plays–greeting singers outside the auditions rooms, interviewing family and friends, etcetera. With Ryan co-hosting Live with Kelly and Ryan every day in New York City, *he may not be able to participate in the Judges Auditions at all.
UPDATE: *Ryan Seacrest repoting from Georgia
Kicking off auditions in our home state! Maybe #TheNextIdol is also from Georgia? @LukeBryanOnline pic.twitter.com/TWtjHb4Waf
