Tonight, the American Idol Top 7 will sing songs from the Coldplay catalog, with the band’s frontman, Chris Martin, on hand to mentor. But that’s not all. The contestants will also perform special Mother’s Day dedications to their own moms. Three of the singers–Hunter Metts, Caleb Kennedy and Chayce Beckham–will perform original songs, just for the lady who gave them life.
