American Idol 2023 Top 3 Hometown Visits Schedule, Winners Singles Preview
The American Idol Top 3 finalists–Colin Stough, Iam Tongi and Megan Danielle–are in their hometowns today to film their hometown visits. For the American Idol top 3, that means going home to a heroes welcome, a parade, and finishing the celebration with a performance in front of an adoring hometown crowd. Idol is on hand to film it all to be aired on the finale.
Here’s how the day shakes out for all three contestants. On the finale, the singers will also perform a new original single they recorded last week. This morning they teased the songs, out on Friday May 19, on social media.
The American Idol 2023 season 21 3 hour finale airs on ABC Sunday at 8pm ET/5pm PT
Colin Stough – Amory Mississippi
1 pm – Visit to Hatley High School (students and staff only)
4 pm – Parade down main street
5:30 pm – Free concert at Hatley football stadium

Colin’s single is titled “Still Talk to Jesus”
Iam Tongi – Oahu Hawaii
4 pm – Parade – A convoy of trolleys will depart the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie. The community is invited to welcome Tongi home by lining up along the Kamehameha Highway.
5:15 – Concert Turtle Bay Resort – Jack Johnson, Common Kings, Kawika Kahiapo, John Cruz, Paula Fuga, and other special guests will join Iam on stage.
On Monday, Iam visited his former high school and received an honorary diploma (His family now lives in Seattle).

Iam’s single is titled “I’ll Be Seeing You” and is dedicated to his late father.
Megan Danielle – Douglasville Georgia
2:30 – Parade on Church Street beginning at Club Drive in Douglasville. A pep rally and city/county proclamation will follow at O’Neal Plaza
7:30 – Concert at Megan’s alma mater Douglas County High School.
