American Idol 2024 Auditions 4 Contestants List (Photos)
American Idol’s 22nd season continues on ABC Sunday March 17. The Auditions 4 episode includes more hopefuls whom judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan auditioned amid a hometown theme. The show travelled to each of the judges hometowns to audition contestants, in addition to Los Angeles and Nashville.
The hometowns included Leesburg, Georgia (Luke), Tuskegee, Alabama (Lionel) and Santa Barbara, California (Katy).

Alyssa Raghu
Katy Perry’s sauce is back! Alyssa who is now 21 years old was previously on Season 16 of American Idol where she made the top 24 and Season 17 where she placed in the top 8. It has been 5 years since she last was on the show. The singer who is originally from Orlando has relocated to Los Angeles where she often gigs. She has also made some music since her time on American Idol. Her latest song is titled “Mine” and is a dance pop collaboration with DJ Natty Rico. She also has built a large Tik Tok following with over 330K followers and a few videos that have went somewhat viral. According to the American Idol Instagram page, Alyssa attended the audition to support an auditioning friend, and then wound up auditioning herself.

Amari
Amari Scott Keys is a 25 year old trans woman from Waterbury, Connecticut who is now based in Indiana. She transitioned about a year ago. According to the Hartford Courant, she will be singing Britney Spears “Toxic” for their audition. Amari streams on Twitch and has been performing for years.

Anna Grace
Anna Grace Hunt is a Native American singer and student at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She’s been in pageants, singing her way to the title of Teen Miss Lumbee (a pageant for Lumbee tribe members). She only recently started posting on Tik Tok where she showcases her big voice. According to American Idol’s Instagram page she is “bringing beauty, grace, and a ‘prayer’ to her Idol audition.”

Athena Jett
Athena Jett is a jazz singer from Las Vegas. She attends UNLV where she studies Computer Science and is the daughter of celebrity poker professionals, Karina and Chip Jett. She released her first song recently, one titled “The Gamble” on February 28th and another titled “With You” on March 13th. In previews of her audition which have been shown on ads for the past month, it appears her 12-year-old sister Angelina advocates for her, and has her switch her song mid-audition, after which she impresses Katy Perry. She revealed to KTNV Channel 13 that she deals with stage fright, but actually felt very comfortable for this audition.

Conall Gorman is a singer from Montclair, New Jersey who is now based in Nashville where he attends Belmont University. According to ABC7 New York, he will be singing an original titled “Freebird” for his audition where he also revealed his style to be “indie folk.” He recently released his first song to streaming platforms titled “Backseat (Demo).”

D.J. Williams
D.J. Williams is a singer from Anna, Texas who also goes by “DJ The Songster” on his social channels. He has competed in State Fair contests, sang the National Anthem at local events, and has won local talent shows. He sings both musical theater and soul songs.

Dave Fio
Dave is a singer from Taylor, Michigan who gigs around the Michigan area. He has a soulful sound with a bit of rasp. He has lost over 100 lbs in less than a year. Dave was featured on a rap song titled “Money Flow” by Helluva with BabyTron which was released on Atlantic records imprint The Machine Works and has over 463K streams. He also has released a solo song titled “Never Be Alone.”

Deida
Deida is a 15-year-old singer who appears to be originally from Tavares, Florida. Her social accounts are private, but a few clips on YouTube reveal she has been singing since she was young, performing in elementary school. In a preview, it is revealed that Deida will be singing “River” by Leon Bridges. Lionel says in the preview that her 4 siblings suffer from a rare disease that causes blindness. Deida takes care of her siblings, but to deal with emotions, she sings.
Elleigh Marie
Elleigh Francom is a 20-year-old pop singer and cosmetologist from Biloxi, Mississippi who now resides in American Fork, Utah. In high school, she performed in show choirs, where she was a featured soloist. She’s from a talented family and often sang alongside her sister. She also is a talented dancer and was a cheerleader, and starred in various theater productions including playing Tanya in Mamma Mia. In an interview with Good Things Utah, it is revealed she is from a musical family, and wants to be a pop singer. She will be singing Bonnie Raitt’s “I Can’t Make You Love Me” for her audition.

Jacob Holcombe
Jacob is a pop singer from Walhalla, South Carolina. He graduated in 2023 from North Greenville University where he was a Division 2 Cross Country and Track athlete. His mom can also sing, as he posted a video of her singing that got nearly 43K likes on Tik Tok.

Julia Davo
Julia is a 20-year-old singer and actress from New York City. Her music is of a variety of styles including pop punk and electronic. Her latest release is a cover of David Bowie’s “Life On Mars”. Her videos that garner the most views are impersonation videos of Lady Gaga. A video, where she sings “Paparazzi” garnered nearly 152K likes and 755K views on Tik Tok.

Lillian Hackett
Lillian Hackett is a 17-year-old Americana singer from Lovettsville, Virginia. According to county newspaper, the Loudoun Now, she will be performing an original song titled “Tennessee” which she recently released to streaming platforms. Her family has already been featured on the show in an earlier episode, taking a picture with Ryan Seacrest for their Christmas card.

Michael Rice
Michael is a singer from Hartlepool, England. He has competed on the X Factor UK, Eurovision, and All Together Now. First, he competed on the X Factor UK, Season 11 as a 16 year old where he was cut in Bootcamp. He then competed on All Together Now, Season 1 in 2018 and won the entire competition. Then in 2019, he represented the UK in Eurovision where he finished 26th (last place) with his song titled “Bigger Than Us” which has over 6.7 million streams on Spotify.
He has had a few videos on Tik Tok go over 500K views and his original “Somebody” has over 2 million streams on Spotify. American Idol previewed his audition early where he told the judges about his upbringing. See here for our preview. His mom had him when she was 17, and his dad wasn’t around until he rekindled with him when he was 17. His dad passed away soon after from a heart attack due to drugs. For his audition, Michael wows the judges with Kelly Clarkson’s “Because of You,” earning a standing ovation, and a golden ticket to Hollywood.

Payton Riley
Payton is a 15-year-old country singer from Conroe, Texas. She was named “Young Artist of the Year” by the Texas Country Music Association. She will be singing an original song for her audition. At the end of the last audition episode, A preview included a shot of Payton in which she cried, saying “he was my best friend.” She has released a number of songs to streaming platforms, including a recent release titled “Not As Much As I Used To.”

Quintavious
Quintavious Johnson, is a Gospel singer from Franklin, Tennessee made it to the finale in Season 9 of America’s Got Talent in 2014 at the age of 12, where he finished in 5th place. During that finale, he sang with American Idol’s very own Jennifer Hudson. Quintavious performs at church where he is involved in ministry as well as at local events. His audition of him singing, “Alabaster Box” by Cece Winans was previewed by American Idol in which he wowed the judges and received a golden ticket to Hollywood. Watch his audition HERE.

Reagan Mills
Reagan is a 24 year-old singer and licensed hair professional from Ennis, Texas and, as a preacher’s kid, he has been performing in church for years. Based on a Tik Tok post, it appears that his pastor dad has passed away, so that may be a part of his back story on Idol. Reagan released an album titled Purpose in 2021, with several uptempo gospel songs on it. It appears that he travels across the U.S. to different places of worship where he performs. In a preview from Entertainment Tonight, it reveals he will be singing, “In My Living In Vain” by The Clark Sisters. Afterward, Luke compares him to Leslie Jordan and Katy Perry approaches him as he plays.
