American Idol 2024: Abi Carter, Jack Blocker and Will Moseley head home for celebrations
The American Idol 2024 Top 3, Abi Carter, Jack Blocker and Will Moseley traveled to the respective home towns of Indio, Calif, Richardson Texas and Hazlehurst, Georgia for a hometown celebration. American Idol crew will be along to film all the festivities for video packages that will air on Sunday’s (May 19) finale.
The finalists will be kept busy all day visiting familiar haunts, including schools they attended, places they worked etcetera, culminating in a parade and concert in the evening. Check below for all the details.
Abi Carter – Indio, California

The city of Indio will host Abi’s her hometown visit which will include a gathering at one of her old schools followed by a parade and a concert. (News 3)
Parade: 6 pm – Begins at Miles Avenue Park and end at Smurr Avenue
Concert: 7 pm – Center Stage 82881 Miles Avenue (Downtown Indio)
Jack Blocker – Richardson, Texas

There probably is a parade before the concert, but I don’t have the details. Will update if more info is available.
Concert: Strauss Saare at 8 pm. The tickets are $10 and can be purchased HERE.
Jack’s hometown celebration began Monday night, when he had the opportunity to sing at at halftime during the Dallas Mavericks’ playoff game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The game took place at American AIrlines Center. Check out a little clip of Jack singing “Long Tall Sally” below:
Will Moseley – Hazlehurst, Georgia

A 2019 graduate of Jeff Davis High and a 2023 grad of Georgia Southern University will be celebrated with a parade before a concert Tuesday night. (WJCL)
Will originally attended Maryville College to play football. He sustained a concussion and finished his college career at Georgia Southern University, where he picked up the guitar. Reportedly, the GSU mascot will be in attendance.
- Parade – Kicks off at 5 pm at First First Baptist Church, 30 N Tallahassee St., and will end at Jeff Davis High Football Stadium, 81 Pat Dixon Road.
- Concert – Yellow Jacket Stadium. Gates open at 5:30 pm. Concert starts at 6:30 pm.
