American Idol 2024 Top 7 Polls: VOTE for your FAVORITE performances and contestant. Who was robbed? Or not?
American Idol 2024 revealed its Top 7 Monday night (April 29). That, after revealing the Top 8 on Sunday (April 28).
Before next week’s Top 7 episode, it’s time to VOTE in our new polls, which covers both the Top 10 and Top 8 performances. Plus, vote on which Top 7 contestant is your favorite so far. The competition turned tight this week, resulting in arguably controversial elimination. Which contestant do you think was robbed? Or not? At the end of the week, we’ll post your results plus Facebook stats from both night’s shows.
Speaking of the latests eliminations, I was sorry to see Kayko leave the competition at the Top 10. I didn’t think he’d make it to the final, but I thought he had another week in him, considering the competition between country singers and female singer-songwriters. He was fun to watch. But it was probably his clever and melodic original songs that propelled his success in the competition. Once themes forced him to sing covers, surviving became harder. Mia Matthews one of several country singers, performed first, and made mistakes, which the judges panel helpfully pointed out.
Who will leave the competition next?
And speaking of female singer-songwriters, of the two that ended up in the bottom on Judges Song Contest night, Kaibrienne deserved to stay over McKenna Faith Breinholt. The former was the better vocalist and not afraid to step out of her box. After Katy picked the “perfect” song for McKenna, she seemed to feel obligated to save her.
Now, will a country singer drop next? Jack Blocker and Triston Harper will probably outlast Will Moseley, but I could be wrong!
