Well, this isn’t good. American Idol season 6 Top 24 contestant, Antonella Barba was arrested for attempting to distribute h**oin. She’s currently in jail, reports TMZ

Antonella Barba — known for her appearance on the 6th season of American Idol has been arrested for allegedly trying to distribute h*roin TMZ has learned.

The singer was busted Thursday in Virginia around 11:30 AM and is facing a felony charge of h*roin distribution of 100g or more according to the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office. Details are scarce, but Barba is still being held in jail without bond and has a court date set for next week.

Antonella was eliminated right before the top 12 were chosen on Season 6 of ‘Idol’ in 2007, amid some notoriety for posing in a wet t-shirt in the fountain of the World War II Memorial in D.C.

She was also busted for shoplifting in NYC in 2011, but that didn’t stop her from appearing on an episode of Fear Factor in 2012.

Her latest TV gig was in a funny Jimmy Kimmel Live! video that brought a bunch of past ‘Idol’ stars together for a musical “Where Are They Now?” segment.

We reached out to Barba’s rep so far no word back.

h*roin distribution is a serious charge that could result in serious jail time. What could have led her down such a terrible path?

I dug up some clips! This “We Are the World” parody aired right after the finale in May. Each of the former contestants sang a line updating their current statuses. “I’m a drug pusher” probably wouldn’t have passed the censors.

Antonella’s judges audition–she and her “best friend” tried out for Idol together. Her pal was eliminated in Hollywood. Antonella advanced to the Top 24 and ALMOST made it to the Top 12.

Here she sings “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing.” YIKES. Horrible pitch. Even Randy ripped her performance. Paula calls her pretty. “You didn’t do bad honey.” Simon said the song “ate you up.”

Antonella being eliminated–her signout was atrocious. She was the Vote for the Worst pick during the semi-finals. I think they uncovered the controversial t shirt photos, which really caused a riot in Idol world back then. Such innocent times.
