Allison Iraheta and her husband Matthew Hagar, otherwise known as Halo Circus have dropped a new music video for their song “Oh Money.” The tune is from the band’s latest album, Robots and Wranglers.
“We wrote the songs on the record around 2018,” the American Idol season 8 alum told VENTS magazine, where the song premiered, “Every song tells a different story about what is mutating in our ever changing, ever manipulated society. With love, ‘Oh, Money!’ is just one of a million things that we are wrestling with inside our own little bubble while there are some deeply concerning things going on all over the world.”
“Oh, Money” is the follow-up to the band’s single “Narcissist”, which won Best Music Video of 2018 at the LA Music Critic Awards. The video mixes shots of Allison and Matthew in the studio with VHS tape and a mock infomercial which serves as pointed social commentary. Watch the “Oh Money” music video from Halo Circus below.
