American Idol’s first 1 hour Thursday edition rose vs the week before, but dipped from Wednesday night’s 3.3 preliminary rating. It’s still airing against Big Bang Theory reruns. The ratings should drop when the hit CBS comedy returns to the schedule. At least Idol managed to beat the re-run (although not in viewers), winning the demo for the night.
