Kris Allen – “The Way You Look Tonight” – Jamie said “I want to make an album with you now”
Allison Iraheta – “Someone to Watch Over Me” – Top Idol says Allison is a doll. She’s absolutely ADORABLE. And seems like a totally sweet kid. She also completely rocks it tonight. I think it was her best performance by far.
Matt Giraud – “My Funny Valentine” – Jamie suggested changes – Matt doesn’t play piano. Another spoiler who was there said it was “low energy”
Danny Gokey – “Come Rain Come Shine” – Jamie suggested changes – Started off slow and then brought it to “church”–like Danny often does.
Adam Lambert – “Feeling Good” (the muse version) -Jamie liked Adam. Adam said he was going to “rock the song”

Jamie Foxx is mentoring. And unlike previous seasons–the Top 5 traditionally perform 2 songs each–the kids will only get to perform one song tonight.
You see, the judges can’t keep their comments short, making it impossible to fit 10 songs into one hour. Plus, there’s the danger of Paula critiquing the second song choice before she hears it, like she did to poor Jason Castro during last season’s Top 5…
