Casey Abrams teams up once again with the retro outfit, Postmodern Jukebox for a cover of The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face.”
The arrangement pays “homage to lounge legends Martin, Newton, and Cheese in this Las Vegas Lounge-styled rendition,” according to the PMJ website. The group is currently on tour in Australia, but will return to the United States for more tour dates in March. Check out the schedule HERE.
As far as the American Idol season 10 alum is concerned, fans can find him regularly releasing amusing musical clips to his Tik Tok. The singer and musician regularly posts a ton of fun collaborations on there, including with fellow Idols Jax and Stefano Langone.
Also, Casey is playing a brand new upright bass these days. This, after car thieves stole his beloved bass that brought him through high school and his run on Idol on 2011. “It was played in all my jazz recitals, rock concerts and was even the bass I played on American Idol,” said Casey in a video. “It was the bass tracked on all my records, in every Postmodern Jukebox video and in every social media video you’ve ever seen.”
However, Casey blew threw his $5,000 GoFundMe goal, thanks to caring fans, which enabled him to purchase a brand new instrument. After raising over $11,500, Casey wrote, “New bassy will be in my facey soon! I Love You All!”
