Country singer Gabby Barrett cancelled a weekend full of councerts due to illness. On Instagram stories, the American Idol 2018 alum wrote, “I’m sad to announce that I have to cancel this weekend of dates due to illness.”
She added, “I hate this part of it, but at the same time it’s best to let my voice and body recover rather than pushing through this time. I always strive to give my fans the best show possible when I step on stage and am looking forward to being back soon. Love y’all.”
The singer didn’t specify the illness, or when she’d be returning to the road.
However, while she cancelled a date at the PD Pavilion at the Mann in Philadelphia, PA on July 8 and the CMAC Performing Arts Center in Canandaigua NY on July 9, her concert schedule doesn’t pick up again until the Jay County Fair on July 14 in Portland, Indiana. The week-long gap gives her plenty of time to recover. Check out her tour dates HERE.
