American Idol’s Jax Shows Her Exes Song She Wrote About Them (Video)

American Idol season 14 alum Jax releases a new song “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” on Atlantic Records. The tune is about what the title implies–the singer-songwriter is grateful to all thy guys who put her through hell, because they led her to the healthy and good relationship she is in now.

Jax fills in enough biological and/or geographical information about each of her former dudes into the lyrics, that they surely would recognize themselves if they heard the song. And indeed, when Jax invites some of her actual exes into her car to listen to the song with her for a social media clip? Well the reactions are priceless.

“Showing My Exes the Song I Wrote About Them” the clip is titled. “So I wrote a song ‘To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before’,” Jax explains. “It’s about how my past toxic relationships led me to the healthy one I’m in today (pushes boyfriends face!).”

To prove current boyfriend wrong, who said she would never “throw shade to your exes at their faces” she gleefully replied “Challenge accepted! Today I’m going to play the song for my ex-boyfriends.” Boyfriend adds, “I’m staying in the car.” After boyfriend climbs into the backseat, three of her exes sit next to her as the song plays. The blond looks big mad!

Jax invites her exes to listen to her new song about her exes. Hilarity ensues

The song is available everywhere to stream and download now. Jax also dropped the official music video. Listen and watch below. In the clip, Jax is a contestant on the “Prince or Frog,” a Dating Game-like show. Needless to say, the competition does not end as planned or expected.

Jax’s most recent single, a sentimental ballad written about her parents titled “Like My Father,” has accrued over 55 million streams since its release.
