American Idol 2019 winner Laine Hardy released the official music video for his song “Authentic.” And considering he has spent much of the summer on tour, the singer reveals the clip was shot in logical places.
“We filmed the #Authentic official video in one of my favorite places…,” Laine wrote on social media, “on stage performing for y’all. Check out the video now and let me know if ya see yourself!”
The video depicts Laine and his band’s life on the road: Hanging out in the towns where they play, hitting up the local convenience store, backstage getting ready for the show, interacting with fans and more.

Before hitting the road with Toby Keith beginning September 2 in Allentown PA, Laine will make his Grand Ole Opry debut on August 28. “Growing up listening to country music, playing the Grand Ole Opry has always been a dream of mine,” said Laine in a press statement. “Stepping into that circle where so many artists I’ve loved my whole life have been, it’s really going to be a crazy and special moment for me.” Click here for tickets.
Additionally, Laine became a secondary star on the latest The Bachelorette season as ABC featured his song, “Memorize You,” several times. The romantic tune served at pivotal moments between eventual couple, Katie Thurston and Blake Moynes. It played during the last moments of the series as Katie and Blake rode off into the proverbial sunset.
