Congratulations to Scott MacIntyre and his wife Christina, who welcomed a baby girl. The couple announced the happy news Tuesday (Aug 25) on Instagram. Stella Christina, born on August 18, joins big brother Christian, born in 2016.
Stella, Scott noted, was born on the couple’s 9th wedding anniversary.
“Introducing Miss Stella Christina MacIntyre, who arrived on 8-18-20… our 9th wedding anniversary!” Scott wrote. “We are so thankful for this sweet blessing, and grateful for all your prayers for her little life!”

Scott competed on American Idol season 8 back in 2009, leaving the competition in 8th place. Before appearing on Idol, Scott had already made his mark as an inspirational speaker. The singer is legally blind and has had two kidney transplants over his lifetime.
