It’s here. Scotty McCreery’s long-awaited new single “Five More Minutes” is available at all digital outlets.
The American Idol season 10 winner co-wrote the heartfelt ballad two weeks after his paternal grandfather died in 2015. Last summer, he debuted “Five More Minutes” at the Grand Ole Opry, and the subsequent YouTube video went viral.
Scotty’s last single was “Southern Belle” in 2015 before he parted ways with Mercury Nashville, the record label he signed with after winning Idol in 2011. These days, the country singer is releasing his music independently via Dagum Records.
As always, Scotty is hitting the road this spring and summer. Check out his concert dates here. He’s set to perform at the PBS National Memorial Day Concert at the end of the month.
