Your favorite summertime guilty pleasure America’s Got Talent returns to NBC on Tuesday May 29.
While the acts are brand new, the judging panel and host remain the same. Creator/producer Simon Cowell along with Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Mel B. return to the judges table. Tyra Banks begins her second season as host.
Watch a sneak peak of Tuesday’s premiere featuring 14 year old Flau’jae from Savanna whose father died before she was born, apparently due to gun violence. The young rapper was previously a contestant on season three of Jermaine Dupri‘s Lifetime reality competition show, The Rap Game, which is currently shooting season five. She competed in 2016 and did not win.
Flau’jae performed a rap she penned in which she shared a very personal story.
Bonus Video: With it being the 13th season of AGT, the show is employing popular horror movie tropes to promote the new season.
