On Tuesday’s (June 4) America’s Got Talent, Karamjit and Kawaljit Singh, bring a danger act from India to the AGT stage.
The bit involves smashing coconuts and melons while blindfolded. What makes is the act dangerous is the fruit is placed strategically around the body of that super tall man in the above photo. The melon smasher has salt poured on his eyes before his partner places a blindfold and bag over his head.
As the blindfolded man goes on a rampage with a sledge hammer, the tall guy smiles placidly throughout most of it, until the hammer is close to his head, at which point he seems a tad nervous. The sledgehammer doesn’t always crack a melon when it comes down, but it also never even comes close to hurting the potential victim.
Judges Howie Mandel, Gabrielle Union, Julianne Hough and Simon Cowell in addition to host Terry Crews, appear appropriately freaked out and terrified throughout. The melon/coconut thing is so weird–if it weren’t so dangerous, it would be a joke act!
