It’s the America’s Got Talent 2022 Qualifiers 3 LIVE results show. Eleven singers performed Tuesday night, but only TWO will advance to the finale, based solely on America’s vote. At this point, judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara have no say in the outcome. Terry Crews hosts.

After the recap, the 11 acts take the stage. Terry mentions that some online fans were upset that Howie was MEAN about a few acts. Howie does not care. Simon reiterates that he’s rooting for his Golden Buzzer act, Sara James.
Terry begins revealing the Top 5
Hayden Kristal and Cline Twins step forward. One is still in the competition, and the other is heading home. The first act still in it is…Hayden Kristal! The Cline Twins are eliminated.
Celia Munoz and Mia Morris step forward. One is still in the competition, the other is heading home. Still in it is…Celia Munoz. Mia Morris is eliminated!
XOMG Pop!, Funkanometry and Amanda Mammana step forward. One of the three acts is still in the competition. And this is…Amanda Mamanna. Howie believed that result would go differently but he doesn’t mention who. He says, “But, America always gets it right.” Funkanometry and XOMG Pop! are eliminated.
Now…a time waster! Simon and Howie checked out the AGT residency at the Luxor in Las Vegas to play pranks on the VIP tour people. Many hijinks ensued
Next, Nicolas RIBS and MPLUSPLUS step forward. One is still in the competition, one is heading home. The next act still in it is…Nicolas RIBS! MPLUSPLUS is eliminated.
Next, Sara James and JoJo and Bri step forward. One takes the last spot, the other goes home. Still in it is…Sara James! JoJo and Bri are eliminated.
Next, it’s a video package featuring Kodi Lee and his mother. She shares her early concerns about Kodi joining the Las Vegas residency at the Luxor full time. But he loves performing five nights a week. Then, after the break Kodi Lee is joined on stage by Teddy Swims and Journey’s Neal Schon to perform a cover of “Don’t Stop Believing.”
Now, the Top 5 take the stage. It’s time to reveal the Top 3. America has voted. The first act in the Top 3 is…Nicolas RIBS! The next act in the Top 3 is…Celia Munoz!! And the final act in the Top 3 is…Sara James!!!
It’s time! Terry reveals the Top 2 going into the finals. The first act is…Sara James! Simon is very happy that his Golden Buzzer advanced. And the second act going into the finale is…Nicolas RIBS. Ah. My spidey sense told he me he would advance, but I predicted Celia anyway. Wishful thinking. It’s terrible that Celia is eliminated. Hopefully she’ll nab the 11th Wildcard spot.
However, Nicolas is the best magician of the 2022 season and deserves his spot in the finale! And I’ll repeat that Celia’s tribute to Olivia Newton John was sweet, but she did NOT up her game from her audition, where she told a complicated, mesmerizing and humorous story.
Sara James and Nicolas RIBS join saxophonist and Terry Crews buzzer Avery Dixon, Country artist Drake Milligan, magician Yu Hojin and Country trio and group buzzer Chapel Hart in the final. Two more Qualifying rounds will add 4 more finalists, in addition to an 11th Wildcard spot. The judges will choose 4 eliminated acts, America will Instant Vote.
