The Top 11 finalists are: 82nd Airborne Division – All-American Chorus – Choir, Adrian Stoica & Hurricane – Dog Act, Ahren Belisle – Comic, Anna Deguzman – Magician, Avantgardey – Dance group, Chibi Unity – Dance Group, Lavender Darcangelo – Singer, Murmuration – Dance Group, Mzansi Youth Choir – Choir, Putri Ariani – Singer, Ramadhani Brothers – Head balancers.
Guest stars: chef and television personality Cat Cora, award-winning songwriter Diane Warren, pop and R&B singer Jason Derulo, acclaimed award-winning musician Jon Batiste, singing sensation and X Factor UK alum Leona Lewis, America’s Got Talent season 17 winner the Mayyas and multi-platinum-selling band Thirty Seconds to Mars.
The 82nd Airborne Division Chorus kicks off the show with an acapella ditty before the announcer introduces the judges, Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara. Terry Crews is host.

HEY. AGT just spent an hour recapping last night. But why not recap again. So much filler is ahead. Might as well kick it off now.
Next, it’s the final SONIC 44 lounge of the season. Gotta sell those tots and lime rickeys am I right?
Next it’s a clip of Avantgardey performing with Chibi Unity, Mzansi Choir and the rest of the Top 11 performers. Cute.
Now legendary songwriter Diane Warren plays piano as Lavender Darcangelo performs the song she wrote “Only Love Can Hurt Like This.” Diane advises young Lavender to “keep singing like that…that was an amazing performance.” She asks the audience to give her more applause. Heidi congratulates her Golden Buzzer contestant.
Magician Anna Deguzman takes the stage to perform card tricks while Jason Derulo and Murmuration do their hand thing. Seriously, Jason is singing “Hands on Me” before shifting into another hit. These “mashups” are so random. Jason calls the acts “unbelievable.” Howie describes his Golden Buzzer act as “superstars.” Simon thanks Jason for dropping by!

Next is a clip of Simon from earlier in the season when he lost his voice. He used an ipad with phrases loaded up on it to express his thoughts on the panel. In the clip Ahren Belisle nabs the ipad and plays a few telephone pranks. He calls the judges using Simon’s voice to inform them that he is thinking of: Adopting Ahren, putting him on the panel, donating all their salaries to him, etc. Ha ha RANDY JACKSON IS HERE FOR AHREN TO PRANK!!!! This filler clip was actually kind of hilarious.
Next, it’s the cartoon Trolls from the animated movie Trolls Band Together singing the first ‘Nsync song in 20 years. PRODUCT PLACEMENT Y’ALL.
Time to sell some stuff
AND EVEN MORE PRODUCT PIMPING. Simon Cowell takes a bunch of kids on a field trip to Universal Studios Hollywood. He introduces them to “SUPER NINTENDO WORLD.” He tells the kids “You can be as badly behaved as you want.” I’m sure parents appreciate that.
Now, Jon Batiste and Mzansi Youth Choir join forces to sing his song “Worship.” It’s an energetic and joyful performance. The best “mashup” of the night so far. The song is from his new album World Music Radio.
Next, celebrity chef Cat Cora does a bit with Adrian Stoica & Hurricane. They cook together and antics ensue. Needless to say, the kitchen is a complete mess by the end of the bit. HURRICANE IS INNOCENT. SHE’S A GOOD GIRL.
Now, Putri Ariana and X Factor alum Leona Lewis perform the classic Snow Patrol hit “Run.” Leona notes that she won a “massive singing competition.” She calls Putri a gift to the world. “Don’t listen to anything Simon says,” she quips. “Just ignore him!” She adds, “You are incredible.” Leona is about to head out on a Christmas tour.
Fans can pick the acts they want to see on AGT Fantasy League via the AGT app. And don’t worry, Sofia will be back for AGT 2024
Terry promotes the AGT Fantasy League spinoff coming to NBC next year. Sofia actually reveals that she IS NOT ABLE to join. “I have other things to do,” she shrugs. But not to worry Sofia fans (wherever you are heh), she confirms she’ll be back next summer. In the meantime, she’s found the perfect replacement. Former AGT judge Mel. B. In the brand new spinoff, All star contestants will compete against each other with the judges serving as their mentors. A new thing for AGT. On the phone app, fans can nominate their favorite acts, and the judges will choose the winners.
Next, the contestants gush over host Terry Crews. They love him!
Then, the Ramadhani Brothers take the stage to perform some head balancing before Thirty Seconds to Mars perform a song from their new album alongside dance group Chibi Unity. The actor Jared Leto fronts the band. Isn’t he cancelled for being a sex pest or something?
America’s Got Talent 2022 winners, the Mayyas return
The next clip features Howie Mandel. He’s so funny, right? Howie will be starting his 15th season on AGT next year. It seems that the panel is confirming their return to next summer’s AGT. OK Heidi, you’re next.
Now, season 17 champions Mayyas perform one of their jaw dropping routines. “It’s been such an amazing year for us,” they say. The group performed in Dubai with Beyonce last year. Sofia gushes over her former Golden Buzzer contestants.
The Top 5 is revealed
Some results finally! Terry will reveal the Top 5 from the Top 11. The winner will receive a BRAND NEW ELECTRIC KIA. Cool.
Lavender Darcangelo and Ramadhani Brothers step forward. The act taking the first spot in the Top 5 is…Ramadhani Brothers! Lavender Darcangelo is eliminated. Chibi Unity and Putri Ariani step forward. The next act moving into the Top 5 is Putri Ariani. Chibi Unity is eliminated. Ahren Belisle and Adrian Stoica & Hurricane step forward. The act taking the next spot in the Top 5 is Adrian Stoica & Hurricane! Ahren Belisle is eliminated. 82nd Airborne Division chorus and Anna Deguzman step forward. The act taking the 4th spot in the Top 5 is…Anna Deguzman! The chorus is eliminated. One spot remains. Murmuration and Mzansi Youth Choir and Avantgardey step forward. Only one will advance to the Top 5 and it’s…Murmuration! Mzansi Youth Choir and Avantgardey are eliminated.
But good news for Mzansi Youth Choir: Coldplay was so impressed with their performance of their song on Tuesday, they have invited the group to perform on stage with them!

Another act is about to leave the competition. Finishing in 5th place is…Ramadhani Brothers. The crowd boos!
The act finishing in 4th place and leaving the competition is…PUTRI ARIANI. The crowd BOOS LOUDLY. Wow. That’s a shock. A BIG SHOCK. Simon assured Putri that she’s a diamond and doesn’t need to win the competition to be wildly successful.
Who finished in 3rd place? The act leaving the competition next is…Murmuration. Holy cow. These results ARE WACK. MORE BOOING EVEN MORE BOOING from the audience. That leaves Adrian Stoica & Hurricane and Anna Deguzman as the Top 2. Every Golden Buzzer act has been eliminated. Wow.
Adrian Stoica & Hurricane win America’s Got Talent without any special pimping or promotion
And the winner of America’s Got Talent 2023 is…Adrian Stoica & Hurricane. Not gonna lie. They were my favorites of the Top 11, with Avantgardey a close second. So I’m not mad. JUST REALLY REALLY REALLY surprised. That magician Anna DeGuzman also beat hyped to the gills Golden Buzzer acts is equally shocking!
It’s amazing that the show didn’t promote Adrian and his adorable dog Hurricane at all. They performed first on the finale. The act never had the pimp spot or special treatment. But in the end, fans loved the act–the best animal act to grace the AGT stage ever-and voted for them.
Ditto runner-up Anna Deguzman who received a few praises from judges regarding her status as the first female close up magician on AGT. But the judges even threw in fake answers during her quarterfinals act, almost like they were attempting to sabotage her. Again, America loved her despite the lack of promotion.
