America’s Got Talent 2023 Qualifiers 1 poll results and prediction – Which TWO acts will advance?

America’s Got Talent season 18 airs its first LIVE results show tonight (Aug 23)! The six week LIVE show round includes five weeks of Qualifier performances from 55 contestants and the grand finale. The finale will feature 11 contestants vying for a chance to win 1 million dollars and a headlining spot in the AGT ongoing Las Vegas residency.

Like last season, when the producers shook up the format, only TWO acts will advance each week based solely on America’s Vote. The judges–Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara have no more say in who stays and who goes home.

Who will advance tonight? You all have voted in the polls, and here are the results! The favorite acts and who WILL advance polls nearly line up. Adrian & Hurricane are the favorite act, while Lavender Darcangelo came in second. However, their positions are switched for the who WILL advance poll, which makes sense. Lavender is the only act I feel confident will advance to the finale. Your favorite judge is Simon Cowell. Not a shocker. Sofia Vergara comes in last. Because everything is “spectacular” right? Ha. The season so far earns a solid B rating.

There weren’t many acts that stood out last night. There weren’t many that bested their audition performance, unfortunately. It was kind of a weird night! (Read our Recap)

Prediction

Singer Lavender Darcangelo, Heidi Klum’s Golden Buzzer ended the show on a dramatic note. She’ll advance to the finale. But who will be the second act? Adrian and Hurricane received the 3rd highest number of Youtube views (123K). Kid Ventriloquist Brynn Cummings’ act was off last night, which Simon pointed out, but she still received over 206K views, close to Lavender who nabbed 213K views.

Lavender Darcangelo and Adrian and Hurricane will advance to the finale. But it’s possible that Brynn Cummings COULD advance instead of the dog act.
