America’s Got Talent 2023 Spoilers: Meet the Auditions 9 Acts
America’s Got Talent season 18 will air the season’s ninth and final audition episode on Tuesday August 8.
The “group” golden buzzer is the only remaining buzzer to be handed out. Next week, NBC will air an episode titled “Road to The Lives” which is probably a clip show featuring auditions, and a preview of the judges choosing acts for the live shows. See the full schedule HERE.
The usual assortment of singers, comedian’s viral acts, acrobats, goof acts, alums from Got Talent shows around the world and more make up week nine auditions’ field of 13 contestants.

Ahmed Bharoocha – Comedian
Ahmed is a Los Angeles based comedian and actor who had a lead role on Dream Corp LLC on Adult Swim, has appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Conan, and Comedy Central.

Chibi Unity – Dance Group
Chibi Unity is a fusion dance crew from Niigata, Japan who has been competing for a few years in high level competitions, first at the junior level, and recently they won Vibe 2023, the adult division. When the members were 13-17 years old in 2020, they competed on NBC’s World of Dance Season 4, where they made it to the duels and were eliminated there.

Daragh and Dexter – Dog Act
Dexter, the balancing dog, owned by Daragh Kavanagh, has been featured on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Good Morning America. He specializes in balancing items on his head, and has made appearances on local news stations as well. Dexter is quite the social media star with 240K followers on Instagram and 1.2 million followers on Tik Tok. Many of his viral videos are comedic with him balancing items such as basketballs, croissants, and more.

Donovyn Diaz – Dancer
Donovyn is a 20-year-old professional competitive dancer and choreographer from New Jersey. He has competed in several competitions. Additionally, he is also a talented gymnast where he has competed at the collegiate level on Springfield College’s gymnastics team and in US Gymnastic competitions.

Duo Dadiva – Rolla Rolla Acrobatic Duo
Duo Dadiva is an acrobatic duo whose act incorporates rolla rolla while displaying strength through balancing and acrobatics. The duo from Cuba is comprised of Iyolexan Torres Alvarez and Amalia Cruz Duquen. They appeared on both France and Spain’s versions of Got Talent in 2022. In France, they made the semifinals, and in Spain they made the finals.

Eduardo Antonio Trevino – Mariachi Singer
Eduardo is a 10-year-old Mariachi singer and guitarist from Texas. He appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show for Cinco De Mayo where he performed a song and then explained the history of Cinco De Mayo to Jennifer. He has competed in Mariachi vocal competitions and also recently sang the National Anthem at a Houston Astros game.

Heather and Bogart – Dog Act
Heather Knudson, from Pennsylvania, owns a three-legged dog named Bogart. In their audition previewed last week, Heather explains how she volunteered at an animal shelter and their rescue was able to save him, before she and her husband adopted him. Later, they had to amputate one of his legs due to a cancerous bump on his leg. In Heather and Bogart’s audition, the dog performed an obstacle course themed routine and wowed the judging panel.
Improv Everywhere – Improv Group (Comedy)
Improv Everywhere is a New York City based improv group founded by Charlie Todd in 2001. They have a very large following. Their YouTube page, which has 1.88 million subscribers, describes the group’s activities as “massively organized stunts in public places.” They have appeared on Good Morning America, The Today Show, and in The New York Times. The group has had several videos hit over 10 million views on YouTube including their most successful scene titled “Frozen Grand Central” from 15 years ago that hit 37 million views.

Josh Alfred – Comedian
Josh is a Nigerian comedian who performs comedy skits. He has 2.4 million followers on Tik Tok and 2.7 million followers on Instagram. One skit on Tik Tok titled “Fastest Rapper in the World” has 44.6 million views and 3.5 million likes. He first received fame for what was called the “Don’t Leave Me” challenge on Tik Tok which Buzzfeed and other news sources shared.

Kevin Li – Magician
Kevin is a professional magician at the world famous Magic Castle. He has appeared on Penn and Teller’s Fool Us where he fooled them and was known as the Youngest Returner. Also, Kevin has collaborated with the likes of brands like Netflix, Google, Panda Express, Instagram, and more. Additionally, he has a large social media following with 265K followers on Tik Tok and 187K followers on Instagram.

Morgan & Roxi – Aerial Duo
Morgan Barbour and Roxi Kevill are aerialists who have performed as soloists and as a part of other duos before, employing aerial straps and aerial hoops. Morgan lives in Virginia and Roxi lives in London, England. It appears they will perform a hair hanging and iron jaw act with an aerial hoop. Apparently, they performed together just this past year at circus festivals.

Papayaso – Comedic Clown
Papayaso, the Chilean clown is an act from Andres Parada who is a sketch comedian from Tubac, Arizona. He has used this act on his YouTube page before. The act appears to be in the parody/joke realm. Andres has had some success including writing a cartoon that became a Western short on Nickelodeon titled, Tennis The Good Boy.

Titos Tsai – Sword Dancer
Titos is a sword dancer from Taiwan who often competes in competitions and performs at circus events. He has 250K followers on Tik Tok, and a sword dance challenge he attempted that involved rolling a sword while dancing received 12 million views and 2.5 million likes. He also performs dances that involve fire torches in which he has won street performing championships.
