America’s Got Talent 2024 Reveals its All-Star Finale Lineup

NEXT TUESDAY (Sept 24) a winner will be crowned at the end of a two hour finale, kicking off at 9 pm ET/PT.

Hakuna Matata Acrobats – Sofia Vergara Live Golden Buzzer

The quartet from Tanzania hope to win the prize and make life better for their families. They have created an all new DANGEROUS routine for the final.

Their act consists of stacking rola-bolas on top of each other in a precarious tower–all while head balancing. This week, they introduce blindfolds into the act. As the platform raises into the air, the four acrobats form a human tower. Not as many rolas this time, but the human configurations are crazy, requiring a ton of strength. The last bit moves to a platform in front of the judges and involves a shaky looking ladder contraption. While one guy balances between the ladders, two hang off the sides and one uses his hand to balance off his head! THAT could have gone wrong!

Sofia calls it one of the most dangerous and ambitious acts she’s seen on the show. She begs fans to vote. Howie notes Ramadani Brothers, his act that won Fantasy League earlier this year. Simon was “terrified.” He adds, “If this is the standard tonight…you’ve set the standard. He calls them “four heros.”

Next, a time wasting video featuring comic David Allen Grier playing a prank on the judges. He’s starring on the new NBC show, St. Denis Medical.

Dee Dee Simon – Singer – Heidi Klum Live Golden Buzzer

Dee Dee shares about her life living in Oakland, California. Having kids interrupted her singing career. Now she’s a nurse at San Quentin Prison.

For the final, Dee Dee belts Hozier’s “Take Me to Church.” Her big voice never falters as she works the stage and the crowd. She finishes the song dramatically on her knees before standing up and kicking off her shoes. Her voice is effortlessly powerful.

The judges are on their feet. “You took as all to church…I’m bowing down at the Dee Dee alter,” says Heidi. Sofia says, “I can’t believe you haven’t been on stage your whole life.” Simon believes she showed people how to sing “seriously well.” He liked the song choice, calling the performance a “moment” and “her concert.”

The Voice host Carson Daly is in the audience to promote The Voice season 26, which begins next Monday! He helps Terry introduce the next act!

Sebastian & Sonia – Aerial act – Simon Cowell Live Golden Buzzer

Sonia is still recovering from an injury that took her out of the Quarterfinals. Sebastian performed solo. Simon was so impressed by their ambition, he chose them as his live Golden Buzzer. It gave them two weeks to recover and rehears. However, Sofia still needs to make accomodations for tonight’s performance.

Sebastian begins while Sonia watches. Looks like he’ll be doing most of the heavy lifting tonight. It appears they are relying on the romantic storytelling to carry the day. Next, he carries her into the air. It seems one of her arms isn’t strong enough to perform stunts. So she works around the injury. And the act suffers. That was underwhelming.

Simon calls his Golden Buzzer “amazing.” Uhm. no. Why should fans vote on their backstory? I think not. The accident was unfortunate, but oh well. Howie is also impressed, mentioning her working through pain. Heidi hopes America votes for them.

Brent Street – Dance group – Howie audition Golden Buzzer

The video package focuses on the Australian group’s choreographer. The group gathers backstage to honor her. It’s emotional!

Again, the group utilizes a stage prop made up of metal boxes on one side and stairs on the other. The dancers pull it apart and move it around as they dance creative, precise dance moves.

“They just keep getting better and better,” Howie praises the choreographer. “I love you.” Heidi compliments them for taking big swings with their choreographer. “So much fun to watch,” says Sofia. SImon tries to speak as the crowd screams. He calls them a statement and compares them to a machine. He thinks they can win!

Solange Kardinaly – Quick change magic

She’s a 3rd generation magician. Her husband is also a magician. She designs her own quick change outfits. She also designed her wedding dress. Once again, she’s stressed about topping herself with a new routine. She typically takes more time to put her act together.

She works a fashion doll into the act which also changes outfits! Confetti falls out of an umbrella and her outfit changes! She’s fantastic. Another new prop–a hoop that hoists her into the air. As feathers fall, her outfit changes again. She managed to freshen her act up better than she did for her Quarterfinal act.

Simon calls her “brilliant.” He loves that she does it all on her own. “That was incredible.” Heidi loves the “excitement.” Sofia calls her so much fun to watch. “You didn’t disappoint.” The judges are tossing confetti around. Howie believes she could have her own room in Las Vegas. “You’re a star,” he says.

Learnmore Jonasi – Comedian – Terry audition Golden Buzzer

The comic shares how even through failure, he stuck with comedy. He learned how to speak English through listening to great comics like Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy.

His thing is being the African fish out of water in America. He tells jokes about not understanding the security stuff that happens at airports. Oh no. Jokes about catching live chickens in Africa. Maybe not a thing to joke about in this political climate. Still, he’s a perfectly agreeable comic, although he was funnier last time.

Sofia calls him one of her favorites of all time. “You make us happy.” Howie notes that he’s been working really hard.” Heidi compares him to a cartoon character come to life. She thinks he could win. Simon calls him smart and clever. “I absolutely adore you,” Simon says, “You really deserve this.”

AIRFOOTWORKS – Dance group – Howie Mandel Live Golden Buzzer

One of the members talks about studying engineering in Japan, but being drawn to dance on stage. Nevertheless, his late father supported his dreams.

This act is the most innovative dance act of the season. The quartet uses a small scaffold on which to perform dance moves mixed with acrobatics. They also incorporate creative lighting. It’s the kind of thing that would work well on a Vegas stage.

Howie reiterates that AGT 2024 is the spirit of dance. Heidi calls them “top notch.” Sofia calls the act unique. “It’s so beautiful, it’s so fun.” Simon calls them “Sen-sational!” He loves the act because he’s never seen anything like it before. He dubs it “one of the best acts we’ve seen tonight.”

Richard Goodall – Singer – Heidi audition Golden Buzzer

The singing janitor from Indiana shares how he can’t believe what’s happened in his life–singing for millions on AGT. The show plays him good luck messages from people back home. Neal Shone from Journey appears to announce he’ll sing with Richard on next week’s finale.

Welp. No glow up! He’s still dressed in a baggy shirt and pants with his signature cap. He performs “Faithfully,” staying in his comfortable 80s power ballad lane. It’s what he does best. His voice is effortlessly strong, like some of the best male singers out of that era. He’ll at least make the Top 5 if not win outright.

Heidi says, “I’ve been ‘faithfully’ your biggest fan!” She calls him a “big rock star.” She begs fans to vote. “I want you to win this so bad!” Simon can feel the energy from the audience. “You’ve never crumbled. You’ve risen.” Simon calls him “Our hero.” Howie predicts Richard just sang himself 1 million dollars.

Roni Sagi & Rhythm – Dog act

Terry mentions that a dog act won last year. Would Roni and her doggo pull off another win for a dog act? Roni only had a few days to put together the new routine, which she reveals will explore the topic of acceptance.

Going for an emotional vibe, the “dance” routine has contemporary elements. Rhythm is quite the jumper! He sails through the air! Puppers Rhythm is so eager to please. Aw. So cute.

Simon says, “I swear that was perfection!” He’s never seen an act like this, he says. He doesn’t feel subsequent dog acts will ever measure up. Heidi says, “His little paw steps melt my heart.” Sofia begs Roni to give her the dog!. She’ll give her the million dollars for Rhythm. Howie notes that Roni doesn’t prompt Rhythm with clickers.

Sky Elements – Drone act – Simon audition Golden Buzzer

This time, the Dallas drone outfit will celebrate America. Each of the members talk a little about their childhoods. They love celebrating the US of A!

Oh look. It’s Columbus on a boat coming to America to…nevermind. Then the Statue of Liberty. And cowboys and trains. And an eagle, and finally the AGT logo. The crowd begins chanting USA. That was pretty cornball.

Simon loves America! He calls it a “special act.” He calls the entire night amazing. Ha ha. The judges panel is full of people from other countries. (Howie: Canada, Heidi: Germany, Sofia: Colombia, Simon: England). Terry is from Detroit.
