America’s Got Talent 2024 Season 19 Finalists Ranked: How would YOU rate the contestants?
America’s Got Talent 2024 final performances air on Tuesday, September 17. The Top 10 finalists will perform for America’s vote and for the judges Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and Simon Cowell. Terry Crews hosts.
A programming note: AGT will reveal its 2024 winner in the Grand Finale airing NEXT TUESDAY September 24 at 9 pm ET/PT following a one hour recap episode. Wednesday results shows are finished for the season.
For this season, there doesn’t seem to be a clear winner. Predictions are harder when contestants only perform 2-3 times before the finale. Back in the days when acts performed 4-5 times, front runners became clear over time!
But, I ranked them below. Will the No.1 act win? Maybe, maybe not! Polls and predictions will follow after Tuesday’s performances! So watch this space.

I compiled this list based on a combo of Youtube views and gut instinct. America’s Got Talent 2024 finale performance episode airs on NBC on Tuesday, September 17 at 8 pm ET/PT, streaming on Peacock the next day.
10. Sebastian & Sonia – Aerial act – Simon Cowell Live Golden Buzzer
Simon chose this act as his live Golden Buzzer after Sonia injured herself in rehearsal, forcing Sebastian to perform solo. AGT viewers have only seen the pair perform together once. Their audition was solid, but not an upgrade from previous “couples” acrobatic acts that have competed on the show. Simon was going for the drama here, Will the pair come back and triumph after a devastating injury? Probably. But it won’t be enough to get far in the competition.
9. Dee Dee Simon – Singer – Heidi Klum Live Golden Buzzer
Dee Dee the prison guard actually had a record contract back in the day! Not that it was ever mentioned on the show! But it does explain why this “amateur” singer seems so polished and professional on stage. She sings effortlessly, hitting all the high notes, but her old fashioned style probably won’t move viewers in a way that will advance her far into the competition. 8. Sky Elements – Drone act – Simon audition Golden Buzzer
Sky Elements have delivered drone shows that feature complicated and emotional storytelling alongside spectacular visuals. However, these types of acts tend to lose impact on television. AGT tapes the performance is ahead outside of the theater. The judges and audience watch a tape inside. No doubt it’s incredible to watch in person. But the act isn’t suitable for the small screen, so I don’t expect the group will make the Top 5.
7. Brent Street – Dance group – Howie audition Golden Buzzer
Brent Street is an intriguing dance with that features sharp, creative choreography. But their are more compelling acts that will likely finish ahead of them.
6. Hakuna Matata Acrobats – (Sofia Vergara Live Golden Buzzer)
Hakuna Matata are one of the better Rolla Bolla acts to grace the AGT stage. They stack 4 and 5 rollers while head balancing. It’s a thrilling act! Maybe in another season they’d make the Top 5. And maybe they will! But too many crowd pleasing and/or unique acts will prevail ahead of them.
5. Learnmore Jonasi – Comedian – Terry audition Golden Buzzer
The likable comic from Africa is unique in this Top 10. His joyful and infectious presentation is not only humorous, but also grounded in hard work and aspiration. Howie loves the guy and is hoping he’ll be the first comic to win AGT. He won’t take the crown, but he is a good bet for the Top 5.
4. Roni Sagi & Rhythm – Dog act
Who does NOT love a dog act? Roni and her adorable pup Rhythm are unlike any dog act to take the AGT stage. She creates clever “dance” routines with her dog, that are both delightful and fun to watch. Dog acts have won AGT twice. They won’t win, but could come close.
3. Solange Kardinaly – Quick change magic
AGT has featured both quick change and magic acts. But Solange is the first to come as a combo. Her quick changes are dizzyingly fast and her slight of hand impressive. I’ve ranked her high because her video views are impressive. But as she explained in a video package, the routine she performed for her audition took years to develop. She doesn’t seem to have anything ready ahead of the finale. It’s possible her act won’t up the ante. Nevertheless, AGT fans love her.
2. AIRFOOTWORKS – Dance group – (Howie Mandel Live Golden Buzzer)
AIRFOOTWORKS perform gorgeous and fluid routines that combine dance and acrobatics using props in a unique manner. The flow of their act, featuring beautiful music and lighting is mesmerizing. They could actually win it all. However…
1. Richard Goodall – Singer – Heidi audition Golden Buzzer
Singing Janitor Richard Goodall might have been a pop rock star in a parallel universe. He can belt out power ballads with the best of them. But instead, he sings for the kids at the school where he works, It’s a feel good story that has captured AGT fans hearts. His audition in which he sang Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing” garnered over 24 million views on Youtube (!!!) followed by the Quarterfinals performance of “How am I Supposed to Live Without You” (2.4 million) and “Eye of the Tiger” for the semifinals (1.5 million). AGT fans love an underdog. But the question is–will the show glam squad give Richard a glow up for his all-important finale performance?
