America’s Got Talent 2024 Semi-final poll results and prediction – Which SIX acts will advance to the Finals?
America’s Got Talent season 19 Semi-Final results show airs tonight (Sept 12). Twelve acts performed Tuesday night (Sept 11) for a shot at competing in next week’s finale! After America voted, only six acts will join the four Live Golden Buzzers (acts chosen by the judges–Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara–to go straight through to the finale).
You all have voted in the polls, and here are the results! (Read our Recap)
The six acts voters believe will advance to the finals, according to the polls are in order: Richard Goodall, Roni Sagi & Rhythm, Sky Elements, Solange Kardinaly, Learnmore Jonasi, and Brent Street.
Voters favorite semi-finalist is singing janitor, Richard Goodall. He’s a crowd favorite. The everyman with the glorious voice. AGT has had similar winners in the past. So it could happen! Roni and her cute doggo Rhythm are behind Richard and Solange Kardinaly the quick change magician comes in third. Singer-songwriter Alex Sampson makes the Top 6 favorites, although he’s outside the window of who voters believe will advance to the finale.
As far as the Live Golden Buzzers are concerned, voters overwhelmingly chose dance group, AIRFOOTWORKS as their favorites. One drawback to being a Golden Buzzer? The voting audience only sees the act TWICE because they skip the semis. I miss the old days when an act that made it to the finals performed 4 or 5 times over the course of a season! The Voice has cut back as well. Maybe network budget cuts robbing fans of their fun could be the subject of a future piece, but I digress…
Prediction
Richard Goodall, Roni Sagi & Rhythm, Sky Elements, Solange Kardinaly, Learnmore Jonasi, and Brent Street are your top six. Those are reasonable guesses and I’m going to agree. It’s possible that Alex Sampson could sneak in there, but I can’t figure out who he could replace. Brent Street maybe? Probably not.
