America’s Got Talent 2024: Meet the acts appearing on the premiere
America’s Got Talent season 19 premieres on Tuesday, May 28. Find out which acts will appear on the very first AGT episode of 2024.
Terry Crews hosts while Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Simon Cowell and Sofia Vergara sit on the judges panel. Sofia returns after skipping the winter offshoot, AGT: Fantasy League. Former AGT judge Mel B. came out of retirement for last winter’s Fantasy League only temporarily.
This season, the Golden Buzzers expand. The audience and group buzzers are gone. But now each of the judges get TWO buzzers, while Terry holds on to his one. That’s nine golden buzzers in all!

Arshiya
Arshiya is a dancer and from the preview pictures it appears she will be doing a mix of contortionism and dancing in the style of horror for her audition. She has was on the Indian Kids Dance show, Super Dancer Chapter 4. She also played the role of Ishana on the Indian TV Show Mangal Lakshmi.

Ashlee Montague
Ashlee is a Las Vegas based classically trained ballet dancer who now performs in circus type acts. She appeared on America’s Got Talent Season 9 as Richard and Ashlee and were cut in Judgement Week. She also appeared with Richard on The Gong Show. This time on AGT, it appears she will be doing some dancing and balancing on wine bottles.

Baby Dev
Baby Dev has been teased in most of the promos as the youngest contestant ever at 2 years old. His act which involves him solving math problems, was previewed in an early release where his dad joined him on stage as he solved multiplication and addition problems (Watch here). He ended his audition with a fairly advanced math problem, wowing the judges. He went viral on Tik Tok, where his page has 1 million followers. He also has 781K followers on Instagram. His most viral Tik Tok video had 36.3 Million Views and 1.8 million likes.

Chris Ivan
Chris, who is also known as Plunger Papi, has 1.83 Million subscribers on YouTube and 1.3 million followers on Tik Tok. He’s a world record plunger thrower who tries to get plungers to stick to different objects and materials. His most viewed video has 142 million views on YouTube where he threw plungers at various signs including one where he landed plungers on the two eyes of Wendy’s logo.

Daisy Mae & Clifford
This act features two dogs, one named Daisy Mae who is a 6 year old Basset Hound and one named Clifford who is Red Bloodhound. Both reside in Chicago. The acts go through obstacle courses and a video on Tik Tok with Daisy Mae going through a course garnered 50.8K likes and 470.5K views.

Learnmore Jonasi
Learnmore is a Zimbabwean stand up comedian who has been featured on Comedy Central. He also was a winner of a number of awards including Steve Harvey’s Spotlight award. His comedy material involves stories about coming from a village in Zimbabwe. One viral routine on Tik Tok, where he talks about applying for an American visa, got 2.1 million views and 412.9K likes.

Los Osos High School
Los Osos High School is an accomplished varsity dance team. They have a Tik Tok following of 147K followers with one viral routine of them performing Rihanna’s Super Bowl routine at their Prom Rally, which led them to be featured on their local news station. The video has 19.6 million views and 3.8 Million Likes on Tik Tok.

Reyna Roberts
Reyna is an up-and-coming 26-year-old Nashville based country singer. She has an established audience with 422K followers on Instagram, and recently made her Billboard Hot 100 debut, appearing on Beyonce’s “BLACKBIIRD” which is a Beatles cover from her recent album Cowboy Carter. She also has some minor streaming success with her song “Raised Right” which has over 2 million streams on Spotify. Reyna was also featured in 2021 as a part of CMT’s “Next Women in Country.”

Richard is a viral singer who is an elementary school custodian. He was featured on national news outlets for his viral performance of “Don’t Stop Believing” that was posted by another Tik Tok user. The video racked up 426K likes and got 3 million views. Journey reacted to it and reposted it. Richard has a powerful voice that is sure to wow the judges.

Sam Huang is a magician. He sells a number of books and objects on magic stores online including “Crazy Sam’s handcuffs.” There aren’t a ton of videos of him performing to audiences, but he has a number of clips featuring promos of his products as well as magic demonstrations.

Tonikaku
Tonikaku appeared on Season 16 of Britain’s Got Talent in 2023 where he made the finals as a wildcard finishing in 11th place. He is a Japanese joke/novelty comedian act who performs in underwear and does “nude poses” with different themes. In the finals, he did a superhero themed act.
