Did you watch America’s Got Talent: The Champions premiere last night? The first 10 acts out of 50 competed. Two acts advanced to the finals. However, the acts were not determined by YOUR votes. One was chosen by a Golden Buzzer (Mel B. this week) and the other by a studio audience made up of “superfans from all 50 states.”

(I wonder how the audience was chosen and if the producers actually flew people in from around the country.)
Britain’s Got Talent star, Susan Boyle, was the recipient of Mel’s Golden Buzzer in the least surprising moment of the night, while comedian Preacher Lawson performed last and nabbed the audience vote.
However, if it were up to me, I would have sent the entertaining mentalist act The Clairvoyants (my favorites) and contortionist/hand balancer Sofie Dossi to the next round. How about you?
