CRAZY! Mega pop star Beyonce joined controversial country trio, the Dixie Chicks to perform Bey’s “Daddy Lessons.” It was total woman power on the 2016 CMA stage as Beyonce strutted her stuff.
When the song appeared on the singer’s album, Lemonade, the country music press criticized the song for not being country enough. The Dixie Chicks covered the song on tour as a show of support.
No doubt, there were country folk in the audience left slack jawed after that. FYI: Do not miss the fabulous saxophone player in rhinestone cowboy boots. I have a felling folks will be talking about THAT performance for a long time to come.
