The Voice 22 winner Bryce Leatherwood drops “The Finger” new single and music video
Bryce Leatherwood won The Voice season 22 last December as a member of Team Blake Shelton. Now, the Woodstock Georgia native is living in Nashville and releasing new music on Republic Records/Universal Music Group Nashville. A record deal is part of The Voice winner’s prize package.
The singer recently released his first single, “The Finger” and now a new music video is out to accompany his major label debut.
“I’ve had a blast playing ‘The Finger’ live all summer long and I’m excited for fans who haven’t had the opportunity to see one of my shows in person to experience what my show is all about through this music video,” Bryce shared.
Bryce will debut “The Finger” on The Voice performance finale Monday, Dec. 18
The music video alternates Bryce on stage and working in the studio as he performs the tongue-in-cheek breakup song. The song spotlights his baritone vocals as its narrator combines spite and humor to cope with the fact that his ex-lover found new romance, while all he got was the finger.
Look out for Bryce on next week’s The Voice season 24 performance finale on NBC, Monday Dec. 18 at 8 pm ET/PT, where the singer will perform the song for the first time live on television.
Bryce is currently hard at work on new music
A Georgia Southern University alum, Bryce began honing his craft in college, playing local venues and fostering his country music repertoire. At Georgia Southern, he formed his band in late 2021 and began playing all around the Southeast. The singer’s goal was to take the stage and play the best of country music to all ages and audiences.
After graduating college, he competed on the NBC competition reality show The Voice and was crowned the Season 22 winner in December of 2022. Following his success on The Voice, Bryce began pursuing a full-time music career, signing with Republic Records and Universal Music Group Nashville in October. Bryce is currently hard at work on new music.
