When Carrie took over the SNF theme song from Faith Hill in 2013, she re-recorded “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” a reworked version of Joan Jett’s “I Hate Myself For Loving You.” In 2016, Carrie introduced “Oh Sunday Night,” which took elements from her 2014 duet hit with Miranda Lambert, “Somethin’ Bad.”
For the new theme, Carrie will be joined by NFL players, who have accounted for 19 Pro Bowl selections, five Super Bowl rings, and four first-round draft picks. Check out the roster of players participating in the open, which was shot this summer, plus the SNF schedule at this link.
