Carrie Underwood made a triumphant comeback on the 2018 Academy of Country Music Awards as she debuted her new single “Cry Pretty.”
The American Idol season 4 winner has been laying low since November when a nasty fall left her with a broken wrist and 40+ stitches in her face.
Despite her injuries, the country star looked beautiful as always as she stepped onto the ACMs stage. And vocally Carrie sounded as powerful as ever, as she belted out the emotional tune.
Just after her performance, Carrie was awarded Vocal Event of the Year, along with Keith Urban for their “The Fighter” performance. It was a sweet night, indeed, for the country hit maker.
