Til My Guitar, a bluesy country pop ballad debuted live by Casey James at his live gigs this year, is cowritten by Casey, Gary T. Nicholson, and Jon Randall. Gary Nicholson and Jon Randall cowrote Reba’s current single When Love Gets A Hold Of You. Gary Nicholson also cowrote 4 tracks on Taylor Hicks’s sophomore album The Distance, including the title track, “Keeping It Real”, and “Maybe You Should” which he cowrote with Taylor and other writers.
Jon Randall is a well known country songwriter who has written cuts for Kenny Chesney and Little Big Town as well as singles with Gary Allan and Dierks Bentley, whose bluegrass-flavored album Up On The Ridge he also produced. But Jon Randall may be most well-known for cowriting the country classic “Whiskey Lullaby, ” performed by Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss.
