CMT posted the sales increases for all the acts that performed at last Wednesday’s CMT Music Awards.
Co-host, Jason Aldean, saw the most dramatic increase with his new single “Night Train” jumping 428 percent over the previous weeks, per Nielsen Soundscan.
The Voice winner, Cassadee Pope, who sang a snippet of her new single “Wasting All These Tears” on the sidestage, had an impressive first week sales of 125,000 copies. She debuted the song on The Voice results show, the day it dropped, which is probably what mainly drove its sales.
