‘The Voice’ winner Brynn Cartelli, Grammy nominee Mary Lambert to headline Springfield Symphony Orchestra holiday pops concert – The Springfield Symphony Orchestra holiday pops concert this winter has gotten even cooler. Brynn Cartelli, the 2018 winner of NBC’s “The Voice” and Mary Lambert, Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter best known for “Same Love,” will perform at Dec. 8 concert at Symphony Hall. In addition to Cartelli and Lambert, audiences will hear selections from the Springfield Symphony Chorus, the Children’s Chorus of Springfield as well as renditions of holiday works made famous by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. – Read more at Mass Live
Katy, Luke & Lionel return to the “American Idol” judges table: “We’ve learned a lot and we’re applying it” – “We definitely have a few stars,” Katy tells ABC Radio, but admits, “I think we’re probably putting these kids through the paces a little bit more, because we know what our top 10 looked like last season and it was stellar.” She adds, “We just wanna make sure we have the same [kind of] 10, which was really diverse in sound and presentation and there was almost something for everyone…it was like everyone was a star.” All three judges agree, though, that, having had one season under their belts, they are better judges this time around. – Read more at ABC News Radio

American Idol Alum Barba Returns To Point – Antonella Barba, 31, formerly of Point Pleasant and now reportedly living in Los Angeles, was released from jail. She was arrested earlier this month in in Norfolk, Virginia, for heroin possession. She had enough in her rental car to justify charging her with intent to distribute.
According to media reports, she denies knowing the rental car had heroin in it. If convicted, she faces a minimum of five years, and up to 40 years, in prison, with a $500,000 fine. Barba, who People.com reports as living in Los Angeles, must stay with her parents in Point Pleasant and be monitored by GPS and abide by a curfew. – Read more at Jersey Shore Online
