American Idol winner Chayce Beckham just dropped a remix of his winners single “23.” Dubbed the “Steel Mix,” Chayce wrote on Instagram describing what the new version of the song means to him.
“So excited to release 23 the way I always heard it in my head,” wrote Chayce. “Huge thanks to @rosscopperman for bringing my vision to life and being such a joy to work with in the studio.” Chayce continued, “Thanks to everyone who streamed the hell out of the original version and thanks to all the radio stations that spun it just because? Give the steel mix a listen and let me know what y’all think .”
Producer Ross Copperman who helmed the original version of the song earlier this year, also produced the newest spin on the track. Chayce wrote “23,” a journey into the darker episodes of his life, and made history as the first Idol winner to pen his own coronation single. Eventually, the song hit chart milestones, including No 1 on the overall iTunes chart, and No. 1 on the Country Digital Songs Sales chart.

Copperman also produced Chayce’s new song, “Can’t Do Without You,” a sexy duet with labelmate, Canadian country singer, Lindsay Ell. “Working with Lindsay on this song was a blast,” said Chayce in a press release. “Being in the studio with such a talented artist really took this song to another level for me.”
Beginning on January 19, Chayce will be out on tour with Kolton Moore and the Clever Few. And then starting on March 20 in Toronto, the singer-songwriter will open on Luke Combs Canadian tour. Check out all the dates HERE.
