It’s been over 3 months since Glee ended its 6 season run, but that hasn’t slowed Chris Colfer (Kurt Hummel) down. He’s just about to release the 4th book in his children’s book series, The Land of Stories, titled Beyond the Kingdoms.
On Thursday (6/26), the writer/actor/singer dropped by The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon to promote the book, but also shared hilarious stories about taking his extended family on vacation to Europe. His grandma almost got kicked out of the Palace of Versailles in France when she pulled a diet coke and sandwich out of her purse, and promptly ignored a palace employee’s request not to eat it.
Chris also shared an EPIC video of his cat and dog (Brian and Cooper!) “playing.” Actually, it’s more like Brian pretty much showing Cooper who’s boss. That cat is a little scary! Speaking of which, poor kitty is so grumpy since Chris put him on a diet, that he pulled off his own collar and buried it in his litter box.
Chris is about to embark on a 2 week book tour to promote Land of Stories: Beyond the Kingdoms, and as luck would have it, he’ll be holding a signing at my neighborhood bookstore on the 9th. If all goes well, I plan to be there!
