Merry Christmas to those who celebrate! Here’s a giant video dump of Christmas performances you might have missed. Or that we missed because competition show finales! Heh.

Most of these performances come from major television specials. Often, the artists wait at least a few days before making the performances available on Youtube.
For instance, NBC aired a Kelly Clarkson Christmas special, When Christmas Comes Around, which is the name of the singer’s newest holiday album. Eventually, the American Idol OG winner, talk show host and The Voice coach put several performance up on her VEVO channel. Check out a couple of highlights below.
Kelly and her fellow The Voice panelist Ariana Grande recorded a duet for Kelly’s album, “Santa, Can’t You Hear Me.” Check out the two performing the fun, upbeat song live.

And for a different mood completely, Kelly became VERY emotional singing the highly personal original Christmas song “Merry Christmas (To the One I Used to Know).” She performs the song amid a long and public divorce from Brandon Blackstock. She sheds a tear at the end.

American Idol 10 alum Lauren Alaina performed “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” as part of the Grand Ole Opry’s live broadcast on Tuesday, Oct. 26th, 2021 and Circle’s “Opry Live: USO Holiday Special”. The classic song was made popular by another teen country singer, Brenda Lee.
During her most recent Opry appearance last Saturday (Dec 18), Lauren received a HUGE surprise when Trisha Yearwood asked her to join the Grand Ole Opry. Lauren cried her eyes out.

American Idol 7 alum David Archuleta performed his original Christmas song “Christmas Every Day” for Good Morning America. The singer just finished a Christmas tour and will go back on the road in 2022.

American Idol season 4 winner Carrie Underwood released My Gift last year. But she dropped an expanded version of the Christmas album in 2021. Carrie performed songs from the album in a bunch of different appearances. She and John Legend sang their duet “Hallelujah” on The Voice finale.
Additionally, here’s Carrie singing “O Holy Night” as part of Woolworths Carols in the Domain, Australia’s largest Christmas concert.

Carrie also performed “Silent Night” for the Opry Live USO Holiday special. Lauren Alaina also took part in the broadcast (see above!). The Opry streamed the special on a bunch of platforms.
