On the heels of scoring CMT’s highest-rated series premiere since 2012 and highest with women since 2008, I Love Kellie Pickler from executive producer Ryan Seacrest returns for a second season in August.
The show stars Kellie Pickler and her husband Nashville songwriter Kyle Jacobs engaging in all kinds of fun “unscripted” hijinks. The American Idol season 5 singer and Dancing with the Stars winner’s kooky and free spirited persona is front and center and seems to have struck a chord with viewers.
“We really get to show the world some of our silly crazy fun friends that we consider to be family,” Kellie told FOX 411 about her show.
She added, “I get myself in some crazy little shenanigans!” Her husband agreed saying, “And I gotta get her out.”
Most recently, Kellie appeared on American Idol to perform a couple of duets with and mentor the Top 24 contestants. She performed “Suds in the Bucket” by Sara Evens with Amelia Eisenhauer and her own song “Best Days of Your Life” with Tristan McIntosh.
