CNN anchor Poppy Harlow, who is pregnant, fainted while broadcasting live on the air on Monday. It’s not as bad as it sounds. Harlow was reporting on a network poll concerning the Obama administration and terrorism. After the camera cut to a graphic, Harlow’s speech began to slur. Breathing heavily, she stopped talking altogether.
Later in the broadcast she came back to report that she was fine. “I got a little hot and I passed out for a moment. I am fine,” she told worried viewers.
Harlow also addressed concerns via twitter:
Thank you all for your concern and messages! I am ok! Passed out briefly and am with the doctor now. So thankful to our amazing CNN team.
